FORM ROLLING FLAT DIE SPECIALISTS
About Us
We offer production tooling for #000 through #100
flat die rolling machines of every model and type. We
also maintain an ongoing research and development
center, continually expanding the possibilities for the
form-rolling process.
In order to provide a “developed” die design and offer
product development services, Rol-Flo has designed
and constructed our own #000 through #40 size form
rolling equipment allowing us to investigate the form
rolling action and results at each part revolution. Die
designs can be modified to suit the material flow of
various part characteristics and of the material being
rolled (low carbon, high carbon, aluminum, stainless
etc.). Our extensive historical database of proven die
designs allows us to minimize development and/or
modifications. When new applications however require
a development-rolling phase we have the expertise and
equipment to offer the necessary services.
PRESENT
HISTORY
Roger W. Orlomoski founded Rol-Flo Engineering,
Inc. in 1978, in West Kingston, Rhode Island. Mr.
Orlomoski was a former director of research and
development for Reed Rolled Thread Die Company
and also had many years of experience in the various
aspects of the Fastener Industry. Rol-Flo was started
with one mission in mind: To fill a need for the
designing and manufacturing of Form Rolling Flat
Dies.
Form-Rolling dies fill a need in the Fastener Industry
by utilizing thread rolling machines as form rolling
profile machines, thereby eliminating many costly
secondary operations. The Form Rolling process saves
material, saves time, increases product strength and
provides consistent quality.
Rol-Flo Engineering currently has an 8,000 square
foot manufacturing facility in Westerly, RI. We
continue to expand and modernize our manufacturing
capabilities and are a full service operation.
